What happens if I need to use my Spot Registration Protection?

We ask that you notify Spot in writing of your plans to use your Registration Protection within 20 days of the unforeseen event occurring by logging into your Spot account and answering a few quick questions.

When am I covered?

If you purchase a plan to protect your registration, your plan is in effect starting from the day after we receive your payment for your Registration Protection up until the last day of the event as listed on your enrollment document or itinerary. This means you’re eligible for up to a 100% reimbursement of your pre-paid expenses for your registration if you have a covered claim.

If the covered event occurs after the Summit event starts, the reimbursement amount prorates daily until the event concludes. This is considered the Interruption Period.

If you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can cancel this insurance within the ten-day review period by calling Summit or reaching out to Spot. We’ll refund the plan cost, provided there are no incurred losses, you haven't filed a claim, and the event has not started.
