Spot Trip Protection helps protect your ticket cost and other prepaid, non-refundable trip costs if you cancel or interrupt your trip, or are unable to attend your event due to a covered reason.
At checkout, your event ticket can be included as part of your trip cost, along with any related travel expenses. Coverage is 7.5% of your total insured trip cost.
A minimum premium of $7.50 applies to purchases under $100.

Please select your state of residence. If there is any difference between the sample plan below and your plan document once enrolled, the provisions of the plan document will prevail. Benefits and plan costs are subject to change. Coverage is subject to the terms conditions and exclusions of the plan.
Coverage begins at 12:01 a.m. the day after the date the required plan cost is received. This coverage automatically ends once you depart on your trip or the time you cancel your trip.
Most coverages end on the last scheduled day of your trip, the day you complete your trip, the day you return from your trip, the day you cancel your trip or the day this plan expires—whichever comes first.
Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption for listed unforeseen covered events including, but not limited to:
You must report all cancellations of items on your itinerary for which the plan cost has been paid to the travel supplier within 72 hours of the qualifying event.
Your trip must be 10 miles or more from your primary residence.
You may cancel your plan and receive a full refund of the cost paid by giving your travel provider written notice within 10 days from the purchase date of your plan, provided there has been no incurred loss, you have not filed a claim under the plan and have not departed for your trip. No refunds are available after the 10 day free look period.
You may reduce the covered amount in accordance with any itinerary cost reductions for up to 10 days from the date of purchase and Spot will refund you for any reduction in premium.
You may also increase the amount covered by Spot Trip Protection at any time before your trip commences.
