What is Spot’s Refund Guarantee?

Refund Guarantee is an optional service that gives you the ability to cancel your Primary Purchase for any reason. If you request a refund of your Primary Purchase on your own initiative in accordance with the cancellation schedule outlined in your Spot Account, Spot will refund the applicable percentage of your Primary Purchase Value based on the cancellation schedule (associated with your Refund Guarantee) in conjunction with the date and time your refund request is received by Spot. This percentage is listed in your confirmation email and within your Spot Account. When Spot receives an eligible refund request, Spot will notify the Operator that the associated Primary Purchase has been canceled.

Refund Guarantee is not insurance. It is a service that enables increased flexibility through the option to cancel. Your Refund Guarantee becomes active on the next calendar day following your purchase.

Refund Schedule:

To view your cancellation window and available refund value, log in to your Spot Account at myaccount.getspot.com. First-time users will need to create an account — use the email address associated with your original purchase.

What Voids Refund Guarantee?

  • If your requested refund falls outside of the stated cancellation window (as outlined in your Refund Schedule), your Refund Guarantee will be void and no refund will be provided.
  • If you are offered and choose to accept a refund for your Primary Purchase directly from the Operator, you forfeit any and all refundable value associated with your Refund Guarantee purchase. If the refund issued by the Operator is a partial refund, your refundable value is reduced accordingly.
  • If the Operator cancels your Primary Purchase, your Refund Guarantee will be void and the responsibility to facilitate a refund will be the responsibility of the Operator. Please note that the price of your Refund Guarantee remains non-refundable, as your coverage was active from the time of purchase.
  • If the Operator makes a material change to your Primary Purchase (such as a change in date or time), your Refund Guarantee may be voided and coverage will no longer apply. In this case, the Operator has the responsibility to facilitate a refund.

What’s the cost?‍

Spot's Refund Guarantee is priced as a percentage of your Primary Purchase Value and is non-refundable. The price of your Refund Guarantee is non-refundable in all circumstances, including in the event your Primary Purchase is canceled by the Operator, as your coverage was active from the moment of purchase.

If you have not yet purchased Refund Guarantee, your Purchase Price can be found on the Refund Guarantee offer. If you have already purchased Refund Guarantee, your Purchase Price can be found within your Spot Account (myaccount.getspot.com).
