You can purchase Registration Protection during the registration checkout process.

What happens if I need to use my Spot Registration Protection?

We ask that you notify Spot in writing of your plans to use your Registration Protection within 20 days of the unforeseen event occurring by logging into your Spot account and answering a few quick questions.

When am I covered?

If you purchase Registration Protection, your plan goes into effect the day after we receive your payment and remains in effect through the last day of the event or activity listed on your enrollment document or itinerary.

This means you may be eligible for reimbursement of up to 100% of your prepaid, non-refundable registration costs if you have a covered claim.

If the covered event occurs after participation begins, the reimbursement amount may be prorated daily until the event or activity concludes. This is considered the Interruption Period.

Can I cancel my Spot Registration Protection?

If you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can cancel this insurance within the ten-day review period by contacting Spot. We’ll refund the plan cost, provided there are no incurred losses, you haven't filed a claim, and the event has not started.
